The Mind Militia was born at the intersection of art, advocacy and survival. We exist because too many people are handed a phone number and told to "reach out" — and too few systems actually meet them where they stand.

A note from the founder
"We don't fix people. We walk beside them — through the paperwork, through the silence, through the long nights — until the system stops being the thing standing in the way."
— Rani Gandhi, Founder

LLB · Tattooist · Advocate
A qualified lawyer with experience across corporate, government, resource and economic development sectors — and a practicing tattooist and creative professional.
Rani combines legal expertise with artistic skill and community advocacy, focused on mental health support, veteran wellbeing and accessible education. Through Mind Militia she empowers people to navigate complex systems, reclaim agency, and express their stories through both law and art.
We show up. Plain-language help, no gatekeeping, no jargon for jargon's sake.
People are not case numbers. The system bends — not the person.
Survivors, veterans and advocates shape every part of what we build.
