Our story

Built from
lived experience.

The Mind Militia was born at the intersection of art, advocacy and survival. We exist because too many people are handed a phone number and told to "reach out" — and too few systems actually meet them where they stand.

A note from the founder

"We don't fix people. We walk beside them — through the paperwork, through the silence, through the long nights — until the system stops being the thing standing in the way."

What we stand on

Service first

We show up. Plain-language help, no gatekeeping, no jargon for jargon's sake.

Dignity over bureaucracy

People are not case numbers. The system bends — not the person.

Lived experience leads

Survivors, veterans and advocates shape every part of what we build.
